The world's most loved London Dry Gin, Gordon's has added two new flavourful flavours to its name.

On Saturday 28 January 2023 in the heart of Joburg, Doornfontein, Diageo hosted an experiential event introducing the new Gordon’s Flavours to the local market. Guests got a first-hand taste of the delectable cocktails from the flavours – Pink Berry and Sunset Orange – through mixology classes in the ideal sunset setting of the rooftop Hallmark House with 360 views of Johannesburg. The event brought together media, influencers and some members of the public to enjoy the brand’s new flavours.

Speaking to Daily Entertainment News, Diageo SA's Head of Innovation, Morumo Maleka shared with us that this has been an idea long awaited to be shared with their customers and have them enjoy the sweeter side of Gordon's.

"Gordons wanted to bring some new flavours and get on with the trends of enjoying gin that has a sweeter taste to it and also have ladies enjoy a gin and have people who love Gordon's but also want some taste to their gin," she said.

Morumo also added that these new flavours are for everyone to enjoy them and also have young people jump on the new flavours.

Gordon’s Pink Berry is made with the highest quality ingredients and has been perfectly crafted to balance the refreshing taste of Gordon’s Gin with the natural sweetness of raspberry and strawberry; while Gordon’s Sunset Orange on the other hand, is perfectly crafted to balance the refreshing taste of Gordon’s with fresh juicy orange notes.

Locally, white spirit sales continue to grow because of factors such as enticing flavours that allow the adventurous gin lovers to indulge in different tastes and recipes. Now with the arrival of these two new flavours, perfect for summer, you can impress your friends by serving Mzansi’s favourite gin with tonic, ice, and the appropriate wedges of fruit to suit your palate.

These 35% ABV gin spirit aperitifs are available for purchase from a range of local retailer partners including Checkers, Spar and Pick n Pay on the 30th September. The 750ml bottle goes for a recommended retail price of R189.99.
