Robertsons and Knorr have ignited a new wave of passion for the art of braai with their Perfect Get Togetha Braai Tour, celebrating the essence of South African culture—food, flavour, and togetherness. In partnership with local Tshisa Nyamas across KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, this exciting tour brought communities together, turning ordinary weekends into extraordinary, flavour-filled celebrations.
This initiative is about embracing South Africa's love for a braai, and Robertsons and Knorr were front and centre, showcasing their irresistible seasonings. Whether it's the bold kick of Robertsons Braai Spice or the refreshing zing of Knorr Salad Dressings, these iconic flavours added extra sizzle to every dish on the grill, making the Perfect Get Togetha Braai an unforgettable experience.
The tour made its grand debut with a media launch at PDL Lifestyle in Soweto, where Braai Masters went head-to-head, serving up perfectly grilled meats, vibrant salads, and much more, all seasoned to perfection. Guests got the full braai experience, travelling on a branded bus from Sandton to Pimville, with fun stops along Vilakazi Street and FNB Stadium. Local crowds cheered them on as they enjoyed an electric atmosphere fuelled by Amapiano and Hip Hop beats, courtesy of influencers like Makhekhe, Cooking with Luyanda, Ndoyisile, Orian Evangyst, and Neo Mailola.
As the tour coincided with some of South Africa’s most anticipated rugby and soccer matches, including the Kaizer Chiefs vs. Sundowns and Springboks vs. Argentina games, guests on the bus tuned in for a lively viewing party. What’s better than enjoying good food, music, and sports all at once?
At the venue, the fun didn’t stop. Guests participated in engaging activations, won spot prizes, and left with swag bags filled with Robertsons and Knorr goodies. From branded travel cups to seasoning samples, everyone left with something to inspire their next braai at home.
But this event was more than just a party. Robertsons and Knorr also called on their fans to nominate their favourite local Tshisa Nyamas. These fan-favourite spots were in for a treat, with R10,000 in support for their businesses, ensuring they can continue to spread joy and flavour with their mouth-watering braai dishes.
The Perfect Get Togetha Braai Tour isn’t just about food—it’s about uniting South Africans through shared experiences, the joy of braai, and the unforgettable flavours of Robertsons and Knorr. Now, who’s ready to fire up the grill?
